September 15th Sunday 9 to 12pm Women only level 2 *including individuals identifying as female and must have completed Level 1

November 24th Sunday 9 to 12pm Women only *including individuals identifying as female

Empowerment Self-Defence is a method of self-defence

originally developed by women for women and other populations

perceived as vulnerable. It teaches practical skills relating to the

physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and social-cultural factors

of coping with unwanted situations. The method provides a

rich tool box of physical and mental techniques for responding

to a variety of attacks; from acquaintances or stranger, in the

public, professional or personal spheres from verbal harassment

to various types of physical attacks.

In this self defence program Antonella offers a synthesis between women’s everyday realities, awareness of  psychology of attacks towards women and other high-risk populations.

The ESD workshops are rooted in personal and group empowerment and it draws from the world of holistic body-mind-consciousness connection.

When: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your start time 

Please arrive on time as you will need to complete a waiver and get your name tag

What to bring: Bottle of water, your own lunch, money to buy own food, open mind

What to wear: Active gear, clean training shoe’s and arrive with a high standard of hygiene

In your workshop you will leave knowing how to use your voice, the strong parts of your body you didn’t even know you have and be able to use your strategic mind to deescalate potentially violent situations.

This is an all engaging workshop and we want you to ask lots of questions and you will have lots of opportunity to practice your new skills.
